We are collecting recyclable plastic bottles and aluminum cans to raise money to give help give back to our community. We are giving to the Humane Society and Children’s Hospital all in connection to our Thrively program and how student can do something AWESOME to help others in the community. Teaching love, compassion, and empathy are important qualities to model to our children.
All recycling goes on the patio behind room 24. Please contact any third-grade teacher if you have questions. Thank you for supporting our Social Responsibility grade level project. This will be very exciting project for our third graders. I will be keeping you updated as it continues. Thrively~ This is a wonderful resource that third grade teachers are piloting for our students. This program assesses your child's strengths, personality and passions to get career and college ready for their future!! Check it out and ask your child all about it!
Classroom News & Needs:We are off to a great start! It takes several weeks for the class to get up and running. Everyday we learn by doing and soon we will be moving along efficiently. Thank you parents for all the supplies and donations that have been sent in. Also, a donation for technology came home with your child. Donations are strictly voluntary and no child we be left out. These donations will help purchase computer software and programs for your child. Thank you parents for the donations toward technology!!
